I'm Cathy, owner and founder of Digital Deco Designs. I love the beach, warm weather, home decor, digital art and beautiful decorative papers!

I live in Virginia Beach, 2 blocks from the waves & sand. It is where I was meant to be! I have a son who is my whole heart and soul. You can catch us riding down the boardwalk on our beach cruiser tricycle and always hunting for the next best ice cream spot. He is the "why" behind every Digital Deco Design. The motivation behind this beautiful small business and the sweetest mama's boy anyone could ask for.

What We Do

I provide a unique variety of decoupage designs of different styles for crafts, home decor, furniture upcycles, scrapbooking, junk journals, mixed media, paper crafts & more. Whether you are a hobbyist or crafting professional, these designs will make your decoupage projects and DIY crafts BEAUTIFUL and EASY.

I make and create many of these finished designs myself and I also source other beautiful artwork that I can bring to you to you for your crafts. I found my true creative calling and outlet when I started this paper design business that I can share with others. I enjoy learning what kinds of styles and designs crafters like and then designing or proving that for you to create with.

I think of it as a craft! Just like crafters combine paints, embellishments and other mediums to build a project, I put together elements digitally to make a design. I blend images, colors, I paint and apply various digital techniques to uniquely create a work of art. Each design is thoughtfully created or provided to be something special and LOVED by you.

I personally choose what you want and love so that you can then create something you love. I'm active in the crafting communities watching and listening to the trends and what you are crafting with and I'm always receiving suggestions and requests for designs that you would like to have to create with.

Community

The crafting community is so kind and supportive and I wanted to provide something truly valuable and helpful to the hobbyists and the professionals. Craft business owners and creatives like you work so hard to make and create inspirations, and I wanted to be able to help and be a part of this amazing world that exists behind the ribbons and the bows and the brushes and the glue. I do believe it is about more. It’s about people. Their lives and this one thing that brings so many of us together and gets us sharing and talking and believing in one another. It's amazing and without this community there is so much that we would all be missing out on that we gain from one another.

There are so many possibilities in this world to make a difference and that is what I intend to do. If you are not part of an online crafting community, please let me know and I will help you. It's a wonderful place for so much more than crafting techniques. You truly. make friends and build relationships you would have never had.

It's A Story

With this art, there are so many special projects I get to be a part of. Memorabilia and gifts that people create. Those things will mean something very special to the person who receives them. Or one day someone will be going through old household items and remember something from their childhood because of a piece that my designs were a part of.

Many designs trigger memories of lost loved ones, such as cardinals. Or my western collection that reminds so many of us of our fathers and of childhood memories growing up. They help create new ones as gifts for people because they love a certain style or animal or element such as horses or butterflies or flowers.

With my art, grandparents are crafting with grandchildren making memories, women are having girls nights and families are crafting together at the holidays.

I am so appreciative for my designs to be a part of this!

This piece of paper is beautiful, but it’s not just a design. It starts here with my story, and why I started this business, and continues with yours and so on after your craft is created.

Where it goes, who it’s for, what it inspires you to do. Will you start a craft business that changes your life a little or maybe a lot!
